Floating Dry Hydrants

Floating Dry Hydrants are better adapted to situations where you have a variation in depth of water and where there is a possibility of heavy sedimentation from a newly constructed reservoir. The floating device is a non sinkable polyurethane 18" diameter ball. Attached to the ball, is a 2 foot ISO plastic chain that clamps to the foot device that keeps the strainer from touching the bottom of the reservoir if the water level drops below 2 feet.
